Early Fall Photo Shoot

Ashley here! So we decided to try and start rolling out our new Fall clothes. Of course we needed to do a photo shoot! Well that was a good idea other than the fact that it's 100 degrees and we were in Fall clothes! One of the hottest photo shoots we have done! It was very hard to look like we enjoyed the clothes when we thought we were going to die!

 After the photo shoot what did we need? An ice cold soda! SO MUCH BETTER! The pictures turned out amazing, I can't wait for them to be posted! I LOVE Fall clothes! I'm so ready for them!!

Birthday Lunch!

Hey everyone, Ashley here! Yesterday was Trevor's birthday so of course we all had to go out and celebrate! Vanessa took us to Magleby's Fresh and man was it DELICIOUS!! THANKS VANESSA! Trevor's wife Krista was able to come and of course Sydney who works with Trevor in the warehouse. She is amazing! Getting together with everyone outside of work is such a blast! We are making it a goal to do it more often! Especially now that the holidays are coming up! I can't wait for activities and events! YAY! Okay I'm getting ahead of myself but I still can't wait! I love my coworkers!!! I hope you had a good birthday Trevor!

Colored Skinny Jeans Pics

We had such a blast modeling with these girls for our Colored Skinny Jean sale!! Only $12.99 by the way, such an AWESOME deal!! We are loving the help that we receive when we get in LOTS of product and it's too much for just Ashley to model! We love having a variety of people, it's always so much fun! The pictures turned out great!

Employee Of The Month!

We would like to introduce to you our Employee Of The Month, Trevor!! Wonder how you get your packages so fast? This guy!! He's the best! He is always willing to pick up shifts and help us out at anytime! Thank you Trevor!!

Modeling

Ashley here! Yesterday I was able to model with this cute girl! As you can tell we had a blast! And yes that is me helping Kourtney out of her slip in front of our shop haha! It was a difficult task but someones gotta do it! :) We seriously have some amazingly cute clothes that will be posted soon! The Daily Dish Fail

Ashley & Crystal here! Okay so this was our 2nd time being on the Daily Dish and we had already been on Good Things Utah twice so you would think we would have this whole TV thing down right? WRONG! Okay so it all began when we took one of the dresses out of our bin to put on the mannequin. It was SO wrinkly, it looked horrible! We quickly went to the bathroom and used our hands to spray water on the dress. We put it under the air dryer, bad idea, because it kept shutting off! It started to look like the dress had dirt spots all over it. Luckily it did end up drying before the show. Next, we had a horrible wardrobe malfunction but I can't go into the details on that one! It was a bad one though and there was some freaking out haha! Now, it was teaser time, we were told that we needed to change the teaser that we were planning on doing. They thought that maybe us "fixing" our model would be good! UMMM NO it wasn't at all! How can you fix something that's perfect? Haha we pretty much played with her hair, fixed her already straight necklace and cardigan, and looked ridiculous! Even the camera guy and Troy agreed that it was totally awkward! Next up, as we are counting down from 3...2...1, boom, one of the dresses on our mannequin falls off! Nicea, our host, had to grab the dress off the floor and fix our mannequin (which we aren't sure why our mannequins need nipples, but they have them, and you can't miss them!) haha we were all in shock! Luckily this show is prerecorded so we were able to start over. Last but not least, Ashley decided to tell Crystal to stand up straight right before our show started. Right as the camera turned to us, Crystal chest popped like nobodys business! Hahaha it was an anxiety filled, crazy, but fun experience! We had a blast with Kourtney and hallelujah, we get a break from TV for a couple weeks! Good luck on Good Things Utah Vanessa! Hahaha! I hope you all got a laugh out of our complete fail on The Daily Dish! Too bad they don't have cameras back stage!

Chili's & Daily Dish

Today many of us were able to go to Chili's to support Kaleb Flint! The Insurance department at Mountain America Credit Union had a work lunch and Crystal and I (Ashley) joined! It was so awesome for us to be able to go support and have fun while doing it!

Kaleb Strong!!

This past Monday, Vanessa (The owner of The Nest On Main), recently suffered a tragedy in her family. Her little nephew was hit by a car and is fighting for his life. We are raising money to support the family! You may make a donation on our website here! Donations are also accepted at the shop. ALL profits that we make today will also go directly to the family! KALEB STRONG!

Okay so we get really caught up in working most days so this is what our breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner is!

We really need to find a healthier diet!! This stuff is just so irresistible!!! If you haven't tried our chocolates and you are local, you NEED to come in here! Our chocolates are hand dipped in the kitchen at back of our shop, they are AMAZING!

Fun in Oklahoma

We found 2 frogs in the breezeway of the apartment complex on our walk a few nights ago! This one was hoping if he didn't look at us we would go away! Haha seriously as soon as we walked away he turned his head to make sure we were gone and jumped away!!

New New New!

We have some new and exciting things happening at The Nest On Main that we are so excited for! We have the opportunity to sponsor this beautiful girl, Kourtney Bjarnson, who is running for Miss Teen Utah! We wish her the best of luck and we just know she is going to go so far! She's beautiful, intelligent and so so sweet! This is just one huge perk of having a shop, we are able to get involved with our community and we get to meet some amazing people!

Also, our mom and dad came down from St George and our Aunt Jackie and Uncle Armin came down from Idaho to help build us a new countertop for the shop! It's going to be amazing! We are so thankful for their help and love them so much! We can't wait to see it all finished, it's going to be a perfect addition to our shop!!

Going Away Party

Vanessa here! We recently had a going away party at my house for an employee that we are going to miss! Emily is leaving on a mission and has been a huge help for us this past year. It was such a blast and it was a great turn out!

7 Peaks!

Ashley here!! Yesterday we went to 7 Peaks for a much needed break with the kiddos! Oh man was it a blast! We are all a little burnt, exhausted, and feeling like a kid again! I think everyone needs days like that, it keeps us sane!

Going Old School

I was going through some of our old photos and stumbled across these. As embarrassing as they are this is our hilarious attempt of using a tripod and trying to take pictures of all of us together! We had a blast but learned a valuable lesson at the same time. Never attempt to take our own pictures with just a tripod and the timer! ALWAYS bring someone else or you will end up with pictures like...well like these!! 

Big Day!

Hey guys it's Ashley! What a big, stressful, FUN day we have had so far!! It's only going to get better! First thing this morning we were able to be on The Daily Dish! It was a blast to be on the show, even if we made complete fools of ourselves! Haha!

After the show we went to breakfast and had a little too much fun! We went a little crazy while we were there, I think it's all the anxiety from this morning! I seriously can't stop laughing every time I look at this picture of Vanessa! Hahaha!

We are now getting ready to all go spend the night in Park City!!! Don't worry we will post lots of pictures on Monday! Have a great weekend love you all!!!
